Children are invited to take part in this year's Summer Reading Challenge, which launches in all Portsmouth libraries from Saturday 8th July.
Children can visit their local library and sign up to see the difference the Summer Reading Challenge makes to their reading and confidence. All libraries will be offering lots of activities during the summer. It is free to join the library and take part in the challenge, and there are no fines or reservation charges on books borrowed by children or adults.

Every child completing the challenge will be invited to the very popular winner's event to receive their medal . This will take place at Southsea Castle on Sunday 24th September 2023.
